2015Feb07 - Becoming a Better Teacher - in 2 parts - Academic Staff College, JNTU, Hyderabad.
Becoming a Better Teacher was the topic for one of the sessions in the Orientation Course, sponsored by the University Grants Commission and organized by UGC-Academic Staff College, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
The participants were University Teachers from various Colleges from different parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Statex, and also from neighbouring states.. The purpose of inclusion of this topic seems to be to motivate the teachers to teach with greater commitment.
Teachers must be motivated to become better teachers, continuously, without which the quality of education cannot be improved. When the teachers realize the important role they are playing, it is hoped that they would raise to the occasion and add love to the responsible job they are doing, and create the necessary impact.
A presentation, titled Becoming a Better Teacher, a slightly modified version - was used for the lecture.
